The company Poirazis Bros & Co. O.E. was established in 1988 by Georgios Poirazis, who is active in the area of fisheries for 30 years and is born in a family, the experience of which counts more than 60 years, when the grandfather Grammenos Poirazis traded fish in the wooden fish auction – as it then was – in Thessaloniki at Markou Botsari street.

Its activity focuses on provision and marketing of fresh fish (catches). Its head office is in Nea Michaniona, a suburb of Thessaloniki that constitutes the biggest fishing port in northern Greece. It employs seven workers, who are highly-educated in that field. We have two refrigerated vans, which ensure the excellent quality of the catches during their transport.

One of our Company’s principles since its establishment is the attention and the quality assurance. Our priority and aim is a better provision of services to the customers with experienced and skilled staff, offering consistency, security and respect. 

Our love for environment makes our Company implement the most recent ecological methods in each service. Its fleet was recently renewed by a new refrigerated van using the anti-pollution technology EURO 6.

The Company’s future will look a great deal better, planning to expand the Company in the field of treatment and processing of catches.
